Concept and core idea is about “Time”.

Initially, it stands for the essence on time being unlimited. What I want to communicate to my audience is the value behind the meaning of what is unlimited, is limited only to what our day by day maybe.
This video matters to me because it is a reassuring reality in my life. I would like to take the opportunity to challenge myself on be half of using “theme”, in regards; to beauty versus the typical dramatic or dark style emphasis I enjoy using in my expressive nature. This beauty will be captured by movement and grace in the attitude or expressiveness of the dancer.
My inspiration was driven by self realization and class discussion on themes. Logistically, the drive is also motivated by expressionism through dance and having to cope with breathing as the opposite or negative to a positive outlook. This inspiration is built on three concepts which are: Moment of enlightenment through time; recognizing establishment, moments of succession, wisdom, and growth. The empirical notion seen of time being captured from the conceptual phenomena of a glimpse of said phenomena in real time while conceptually or of internal psychological perspective. (The Light in nature) The nurture and growth of the individual through out these experiences; showcasing the infinite realism of time explored or experienced.
All these notions / concepts are to portray “Time” as the thesis and conclusion to the theme and story. The research was decided by revelation (my own), distinguished by preference ( choosing to capture and examining colors, scenic options through imagery) of the reality empirically; therefore, it is a psychological reflective theory determined for a philosophical understanding. The research will then be captured on video to be displayed by movement, energy, tone, character, expression, mood, environment or location and theme. The piece / video will embark a divine form of gratitude and appreciation. Examples include; the goddess Athena representing a strong, bound, enlightened, fearless, empowered woman guided beyond time. She is the role model that portrays the person, meaning a modern figure of their time, who will be captured through the lens of those watching and her own lens.

Director Statement
“My creative process is taking dance choreography as is and expanding it from the stage to a more real time location. I consider stage dance to be of a more classical display that deserves to be seen as is but with dance on film, the same display is magically enhanced to exercise an experience that is more profound / realistic or drive on an opposite end to fantasy. There are no ‘in-betweens’, instead I take continuous movement while keeping its shape. “ -Ruby Messina
Director Biography
Stage name MzRuby, Ruby Messina is a professional commercial dancer and choreographer who has been developing in the commercial tv through her talents as a dancer, model, and actor. Her current direction in film, has driven her to create dance on film through her professional skill in choreography and dance. She first began as a commercial dancer on display to utilizing content creation for her choreographies in the World of Dance company; talent content creations through Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Likee App, and TIKTOK but she will admit that with some marketing experience she had done promotional short videos and edited a music video in her lifetime in the industry of entertainment.
